Protocols for Attendance at Public Meetings

Please note that the following protocols will be in place when attending public meetings at our buildings:

  • Temperatures will be taken and a COVID-19 screening will be completed before allowed into the building.

  • A Comsewogue School District staff member will assist in maintaining 6 feet of distance and for the temperature checks before entering the building.

  • Mask-wearing is mandatory at all times.

  • Windows will be opened to increase air circulation in the building / room.

Public comments can only be addressed in-person or in advance by email request. If you would like to submit a public comment before the meeting, please email Jacqueline Yates, District Clerk, at jyates@comsewogue.k12.ny.us no later than 4:00 PM on the day of the meeting.

In conjunction with Governor Cuomo's Executive Order, gatherings are limited to no more than fifty (50) people. Attendance at these meetings are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
