On Saturday, October 23, 2021, Comsewogue held our annual Homecoming events.

The day began with our Fun Run for Grades K-2 followed by the Perimeter run which was open to all. Students, parents, employees and other community members were then invited to march in our annual Homecoming Parade beginning at JFK Middle School, marching down Jayne Boulevard and Clinton Avenue and ending at Comsewogue High School, where everyone was invited to participate in the carnival.

During the carnival, we also held our annual Hall of Fame Luncheon, where the five newest members of the Hall of Fame and their family and friends were recognized. Each inductee received a plaque which will be mounted on the Hall of Fame wall at the High School.

After the carnival and luncheon, the Hall of Fame inductees were recognized at the 50-yard line of the football field. Members of the District Administration and Board of Education and our architects from BBS then participated in a groundbreaking ceremony for our new field house, where the building was also dedicated to former Board of Education member and President John Swenning.

The day concluded with the Varsity Football game vs. Kings Park on the Tom Cassese Athletic Field. The game was well-attended not just by current students, but employees, alumni, parents and other community members who came out to support the players. All of our cheerleading teams also had the opportunity to perform their routines on the football field during halftime.
