Students and staff at Norwood Avenue Elementary School recently celebrated the importance of education and choosing the right career path by holding their annual "College and Career Week." To bring excitement for the future, the school held a week of spirit days, each with a different motto, focused on both the present and future.

The week kicked off with the motto "Our Future Starts Here," where everyone was encouraged to wear their Norwood of Comsewogue blue and gold apparel. On Tuesday, students wore sunglasses and bright colors for the "bright future." Pajama Day was held on Wednesday, when everyone had "Big Dreams." "A Success is What I am Going to Be" was Thursday's motto, where students were encouraged to dress up as their future career. The spirit week ended on Friday, when everyone was "Geared Up for College," wearing their college and university apparel.
