Students from Norwood Avenue Elementary School were ecstatic to participate in the school’s first annual talent show on Thursday, March 21, 2024. From singing, to dancing, to magic tricks, over twenty of Norwood’s most talented students performed in front of their parents, teachers and community members.

The night kicked off with one of Norwood’s very own Kindergarten students singing the National Anthem. The first act included a talented gymnastics routine, a combination of singing and dancing, and a guitar performance from one of the first grade students. After a brief intermission, the second act kicked off with a solo singing performance by one of Norwood’s kindergarteners. The second act also included another magic show, a performance using hand bells, and singing and dancing to some of Taylor Swift’s most popular songs.

At the end of the show, Principal Ms. DiMichele and nine of Norwood’s teachers performed a surprise act for the audience, which included a compilation of the Chicken Dance, Cupid Shuffle and YMCA. Ms. Andreassi, Ms. Barone, Ms. Bellini, Ms. Bourne, Ms. Gruosso, Ms. Morrish, Ms. Nicholson, Ms. Ortiz, and Ms. Regolino all performed on stage for the students and parents.
