Pear trees planted next to the JFK Middle School track

The JFK Greenagers club were hard at work this year bringing awareness to ways that our students and community can best support our environment and our school.  Students worked together and raised enough funds to plant four flowering pear trees at JFK. The trees have been planted near the JFK bleachers, adjacent to the Frank Mitchell Sr. Athletic Field, and will grow to provide both beauty to JFK and shade to our students for years to come.

Thank you to our Greenagers for the positive difference that you have made. We would also like to thank our Grounds department for planting the four trees and to JFK teacher and Greenagers club advisor Mr. Milana for being able to obtain the trees.
