Changes for 2024-2025 with the ESBOCES Extended Day Enrichment Program

The Comsewogue School District has changed the format of how the program will work when registering and paying tuition to streamline the efficiency of managing and scheduling. Please read below, the new tuition schedule, policies and procedures that are taking place in the 24-25 school year. Registration is Open!
Registration is required every year for all students using the Extended Day Enrichment Program. Registrations need to be done as soon as possible and by June 30, 2024.
The Extended Day Enrichment Program will begin on the first day of school, 9/4/24 for registered students in kindergarten through 6th grade. Drop off your child at the school they attend for AM sessions. The PM after school sessions students will stay in their buildings except 6th grade students. JFK 6th grade students are only eligible for the PM sessions and will be bussed to either Boyle Road Elementary or Terryville Road Elementary, the school they attended for the 5th grade.
The registration will be done online with the Extended Day Enrichment Registration digital form below. You will be responsible for completing the necessary program forms for each child.
As always, each child needs to be registered separately; payment is not due at that time. All registrations will be processed for approval or denial. Approved registrations will receive an invoice from MySchoolBucks for the registration fee as follows, 1st student $30, 2nd student $20 and for a family of 3 or more students, $50.
All registration invoices and the first month’s tuition are due by the 15th of the prior month to attend. All parents and/or guardians are required to have one account on MySchoolBucks as their primary billing account. You can create an account at myschoolbucks.com for free, you also need your student’s SchoolTool ID. This is the same program we use for school lunch. If you already have an account, you don’t have to open another one.
Your monthly tuition can be no less than 8 days per month, 2 days per week. Your commitment is needed at the time of registration. Discounts are included for 3, 4 and 5 days per week. All full-time tuition commitments paid in full by August 15, 2024, will receive an additional 10% discount. You will no longer choose one day at a time by weekly or monthly. This new format allows the program to provide proper staffing in each of our buildings.
Changes to your tuition-days commitment will be considered on a case by case need by the Executive Director, Matteo DeVincenzo. You can complete the tuition-day change request form below.
You have choices for AM sessions only, PM sessions only or a variety of AM and PM sessions. If not choosing every day of the week, you can purchase the AM and PM sessions on different days, they do not have to be same days.
Invoices will be emailed before the beginning of the school year at time of registration approval and for the full year. Each month’s tuition must be paid by the 15th of each month. A late fee of $30 will be added for any invoices unpaid by the 15th up to 22nd of each month. If still unpaid your student will be withdrawn from the program.
Daily Rates are AM - $10.50; PM - $12.50. All plans below are based on these rates. Invoices will be sent out and scheduled to be paid by the 15th of the month prior to attending. You are not limited to pay monthly. You can pay as many months as possible in advance of due dates. There is an additional 10% discount for any full-time full year payments made by August 15, 2024. The Registration invoice and September must be paid by August 15, 2024, to start the first week of school.

If still unpaid by last day of month your child will be withdrawn from the program and unable to attend.
Pre-purchase sessions are the only way you can drop off or add on for part time students (4 days a week or less). These sessions need to be purchased by Thursday for the upcoming week in 5 session increments on MySchoolBucks at $65 for AM and $75 for PM. Any unused pre-purchases expire at the end of the school year. Your child will not be accepted as a drop off or add on. If you run out.
There will be NO refunds at all. This includes all absences, late arrivals, early dismissals and snow days.
Documents below are required to be printed out for each student registered and submitted prior to first day the child attends the program. The Code of Conduct form requires the student’s signature (no matter how they sign their name). Completed forms can be dropped off at the District Office in an envelope marked Extended Day Enrichment. You can scan and email them to [email protected].
